COMSTOR MENTOR PROGRAM

 

Mentor is a global award-winning Partner enablement program that helps Cisco Partners deliver significant revenue growth. In fact, on average, Partners can expect to see over 64% year on year growth through participating in the Mentor Program. CMP helps Partners understand how to plan, engage and generate Cisco revenues for their business and has been in place for over 8 years helping over 200 Partners grow their business with Cisco.

 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Mentor is not just another Partner enablement program, or business planning exercise; it’s really a revenue growth initiative. It does this through the robust and proven “Six Pillar” methodology and engagement process listed below, but there are a few key areas that really differentiate CMP and make it work:
 
  • Executive buy in from the Partner
  • Three- way engagement: with Partner, Cisco account manager alignment and Comstor account manager
  • Execution of the actions by all
  • Business plan and revenue review   
     


INTERESTED? WHAT NEXT?

  • Sign up to the Comstor Mentor Program
  • We will organize 1-2-1 meeting to help prepare your plan and Action Log for ongoing execution
  • Follow on meetings on a monthly basis to ensure execution of the plan
  • Review at the end of the program (typically 6-12 months) to help you focus on your plan moving forward
  • We continue to engage via the Comstor team

There are many areas of business that we find we are supporting the partner community with. This is often in addition to the core “Six Pillars” of the Mentor Program where partners have specific challenges or requests.

  • Recruitment to help with identifying the recruitment needs within your growing business
  • Marketing Services – Help with planning & execution of your marketing to support your business growth


MENTOR CONTINUUM
 
We work with you over a period of time on the Mentor Program to help you with your business plan and execution. A major part of this is the support we provide during the delivery of the program across all areas of your business, but what happens after you come off the program?
 
  • Continued support through a dedicated Account Manager
  • Regular “QBR” reviews – particularly for FY planning and ensuring Cisco alignment and sponsorship on areas such as Partner+ program, FY planning, specific projects like Big Bets, IOT
  • Mentor Continuum Events
 

 

MENTOR HELPS TO BUILD A GREAT PARTNER COMMUNITY

One of the biggest benefits we see through Partners being on the program is the value they gain from meeting with Partners who have similar challenges, but also opportunities that they can share and sometimes work on together through collaboration

As a Mentor Partner you’ll be invited to our Mentor ComMENT Partner Forum which we host twice a year. This is a Cisco executive sponsored and exclusive event which enables us to discuss key topics with the Partners and also to share best practice around the community
